Scarlett Johansson opted for the classic black dress two nights ago, when she attended the Grammy’s. Scarlett wore her glamorous sparking frock with an above the knee cut and V neck top with short sleeves that helped her to accentuate her bust and attract attention towards the top part of her body. She teamed her dress with peep toe court shoes and high waist belt, to create a slim waist. While accessorizing with drop earnings and a bold dark ring. Scarlett emphases her face, which is her best feature, and concentrates on accentuating those famous curves. Johansson would of looked even better if she had opted for a below the knee dress which would of hidden her knees, her legs do her no favors. Having the length longer accentuates the hour glass figure further whilst also creating the illusion of a slimmer silhouette.
We didn’t catch the brand she was wearing as everyone was more concerned with her apparent Timberlake affair. She addressed the rumors about her relationship with the SexyBack singer: “We have a lot of friends in common, and Justin’s a sweetheart, and it’s always good to see him,” Johansson said, “but there’s a lot of speculation and I try not to read that stuff. I think when two people are single and are seen together, it’s immediately like a crazy feeding frenzy.”
From American sweetheart to Brit blonde bombshell and P Diddy’s new girl, Sienna Miller. Miller slipped into this little black dress in June when attending the Women of the Year awards in London’s Berkeley Square. She wore a designer frock from her range Twenty8Twelve and teamed it with Burberry Sandals. She opted for soft make up with hair pulled up and bangs to frame her face. She emphasized her eyes with a subtle 60’s smoky eye making Sienna smolder in her lbd.
It’s another Timberlake girl, enter Jessica Biel, brunette beauty. Biel wore a black dress reminiscent of a 1920’s flapper style dress with rows of embellished metal buttons. She teamed her not so fab frock with Fendi ankle tie platforms. The Fendi platforms are available from net a porter and can be found in their new season range.
Jessica donned this garment to the MTV Movie Awards last month where she walked the red carpet with Justin’s ex, Diaz. Her combination of dress and shoes let her down for this red carpet event. She is gorgeous with great legs, but in this case these Fendi platforms are a no-no as well as the loose fitting dress. Although the ankle strap is hot right now it does shorten the leg. To wear the ankle strap you need to have super lush and long legs or stay away from this trend unless you wear it with trousers. Biel should of taken a page out of the Diaz style file and gone for leg enhancing pumps with no straps, or if she wanted straps she should of opted for sandals similar to Sienna’s which allows detail while still making legs look good as they go around the back of the heel instead of over the ankle.
Diaz who presented the MTV new generation Award. Dares to bare, forgot mid thigh mini’s, Diaz went full throttle donning an itsy bitsy black polka dot micro mini dress to show off her super long legs. She may be in her mid thirties but she stays on top with her confident style and wears her blonde bombshell status well. Cameron accessories with silver pumps and small silver clutch. Her best accessory though, are her trimmed and tanned pins. Cam’s little black dress suits her to a T with it’s sweetheart neckline and polka dot print playing on Cameron’s fun and playful side, while the semi-loose pencil shape at the bottom of her dress keeps the look sophisticated.
Though she did have an oophs… moment when Posh arrived wearing the same fabulous silver shoes. Unfortunately it does happen, especially if you are going for a bang on trend look. Next time you encounter a fashion clash, remember even celebrities are not immune!
While, Amanda Bynes uses her little black dress to shed her cutesy – girlie image as she goes for a sophisticated grown up look. Her dress fits her perfectly with a low neckline and skinny straps, she adds signature bling to put a sparkle in her smile. Showy jewelry can be sported with clean cut lines and one color garments much like Amanda demonstrates. Amanda like Scarlett is a curvaceous girl, both girls dress according to body shape and not trends making them look hot to trot in this coco classic dress.
