There was a little bit of everything in the Spring/Summer 2009 collection shown in Milan. There were the silk pajamas that were the highlight of the men’s collection a few months back, transformed into dresses and pantsuits. These aren’t your grandmother’s silk PJs though as they’re more Ibizi than Ihop early-bird special. They have their devices, of course, and they spell them out up front, leaving nothing in doubt: A preshow video named the collection “Pigiama Barocco.” That meant classic gentlemen’s silk pajamas, spotted or striped, with lots of bejeweling in the models’ hair and on brooches, for starters.
